3 ½ day Work Week with a 4 week work day rotation

• $26.00 to $36.00 per hour

Maintenance Electrician responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Trouble-shoot, Repair and Replace electrical components
• Dismantle and remove electrical cables and wiring
• Install new equipment
• Running of electrical conduit
• Understand and comply with all safety and electrical codes
• MEG OHM troubleshooting 3 phase motors and 480V circuits understand NFPA 70E – Arc flash rating. Proper PPE LOTO qualification
• Ensure areas are kept clean at all times
• Comply with all safe workplace practices and procedures
• Usage of 2 way radios
• Wear task specific required personal protective equipment
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position.  This is not a remote position.

Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Electrician position should possess the following:

• Previous electrical experience – preferably in an industrial setting
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift training
• Able to work outside in all weather
• Able to lift up to 75-100 pounds
• Able to read and write
• Able to use basic mathematics
• Able to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shift
• Able to pass mechanical aptitude test
• Able to use ladders
• Able to use lift trucks (i.e. – Snorkel Lift / bucket lift)
• Able to use various hand tools and power tools
• Able to work with a group or unsupervised
• Able to work various shifts and ‘on-call’ as needed
• Able to troubleshoot 24V AC/DC Circuits and components
• Preferred Block Certified or Journeyman Electrician
